FACTORY MADE HOMES

dumWe are the largest supplier of wood buildings in the Czech Republic. The company, which has almost forty years experience in this field, has also been successful in selling to foreign markets for many years. The fact that we have already built 20 thousand houses in the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland and Slovakia speaks for itself. The supplied prefabricated houses are produced from wood. They are characterized, in particular, by low energy consumption – one reason why they are becoming ever more popular.

We  place emphasis on using materials that are harmless to health and the environment. The company fulfils all the national and European Union standards. The fact that the company has been awarded the right to use the RAL quality label by the Federal Quality Community for Site Assembly and Prefabricated Houses testifies to the high quality output of the company.

Our houses are constructed on the basis of the light prefabrication of wood. The load bearing components create a massive pine wood construction frame. The houses are assembled from large panels constructed in accordance with strict national and European standards. This method of construction guarantees a long life, high quality thermal insulation and reliable fire prevention measures.

The houses excel in terms of running costs, benefiting as they do from high-quality thermal insulation of the external walls and roof construction. The low value for the heat transfer coefficient of the walls U=0,23 W/m2K ensures a comfortable temperature both on cold winter days and during the hot summer months. The high quality composition of the construction ensures low temperature losses of houses and therefore low heating costs. Houses from us are classed as environmentally friendly houses both with respect to construction and operation and they are therefore in line with the trend for sustainable development in the area of construction.

The standard ranges are complimented by two alternative arrangements – the KUBIS and LARGO ranges. KUBIS houses have modern layouts with the emphasis on the functionality and usability of living space. The sloping flat roof allows the complete use of the upper floor and gives the house a modern appearance. Houses from the LARGO range are arranged as bungalows with a hip roof and allow for great variability in layout within a rectangular or L shaped plan.

On the basis of a project incorporating the individual requirements of the customer, the house is very quickly built, equipped and ready to move in. The roof, windows, water pipes, wiring, surface finish, carpets, fixtures and fittings are all part of a turnkey house project. It is no problem to add, for example, a double garage, under-floor heating, solar panels and many other items that make a house home. With regards to the fact that the technical documentation is prepared on the basis of the individual requirements of the customer, the resulting house is unique. It will undoubtedly be interesting for you to see the selection of individual elements and construction solutions.

EXTERNAL WALL DIAGRAM  - Overal thickness of external wall = 225 mm, Heat transfer coefficient U = 0,230 W/m2K

img1. Plasterboard: Creates a perfect flat surface which is ideal for applying the final finish. At the same time it also offers thermal, noise and fire protection. 12,5 mm

2. Fermacell: Has strength and loading function. The panel ensures the diagonal stiffness of the wall panels. It is possible to hang cabinets, pelmets, pictures etc. from them. A major advantage is its fire resistance. 12,5 mm

3. Vapour barrier: Protects the construction of the house from the damaging effects of dampness, which enter the wall construction due to the diffusion ability of water vapour.

4. Wooden frame construction: Fulfils the main load bearing function. It transfers the vertical and horizontal loading to the foundations. The space within the frame is filled with thermal insulation, which is not possible in a traditional brick construction. 120 mm

5. Fermacell: Has strength and loading function. The panel ensures the diagonal stiffness of the wall panels. A major advantage is its fire resistance. 12,5 mm

6. Thermo-insulating facade: Consists of polystyrene, adhesive cement (with netting) and facing. It primarily fulfils a thermal insulation role. Depending on the material used it can also have a fire resistant and sound reduction effect. Together with various types of grain size, structures and colours the facade also has an aesthetic quality. 67 mm

img1. Flooring: From a selection of floor covering offering aesthetic appeal, wear resistance and warmth (to the touch).

2. Fermacell (floor sections): Fulfils a mechanical and load function. It supports the floor covering and transfers load to the lower floor construction (soft board). It has exceptional fire resistance.

3. Soft boards: Soft wood-fibre boards transfer load to the ceiling panels. They have both a mechanical and noise reducing function. They reduce footfall noise on the upper floor.

4. Chipboard: This layer has a mechanical function. It transfers the constant and fluctuating loads to the ceiling construction.

5. Ceiling supports: They have a mechanical and structural role. They transfer the constant and fluctuating load to the walls of the ground floor. The space between the supports is filled with thermal insulation. This insulation also helps to reduce the transfer of noise from the upper floor rooms. 240 mm

6. Vapour barrier: Protects the house construction from the damaging effects of dampness that gets into the wall construction by the diffusion ability of water vapour.

7. Under-ceiling lathing: This is attached to the ceiling construction and is used for fixing the ceiling plasterboard. It also provides space for the running of cables.

8. Plasterboard: Provides a perfectly smooth surface that is suitable for final decorating with wallpaper or paint. It also offers protection – thermal, sound and fire resistance. 2 x 12,5 mm
